What do we collect?
Our Web server has the ability to automatically collect the following non-personally identifiable information: your Internet service provider's address, browser type, search criteria, number of visits to the site, time spent on site, date and time of visits, the referring URL, information on the pages you access on our site and similar information.
Our Web server anticipates using thirty party analytical software to provide us with data on usage.
Our Web server uses session cookies which are automatically deleted at the end of a session when you close your browser.
We also collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us, including your email address, name, address, telephone number, and any complaint or question presented to the Board of Directors or Management.
How Do We Use Your Information?
The information we collect is used:
- to enable us to provide you with regular and emergency maintenance and service
- to inform you regarding matters affecting events at the cooperative
- to inform you about the application process
- to generally improve the content and layout of our Web site
- to improve the content and layout of our Web site for individual visitors
- to notify you about updates to our Web site
We may also contact you by email, mail or telephone if we have questions about your request for maintenance and other services. Additionally if your questions or comments relate to an application to purchase or lease an apartment or commercial space, we will provide you with the relevant information. We will not share your personal information with any other cooperatives, condominiums, landlords or tenants.
When required, we may share information with governmental agencies, including but not limited to the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and the New York City Police Department assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when:
- permitted or required by law; or,
- trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud; or,
- investigating fraud which has already taken place.
The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes.
Southbridge Towers, Inc. does not seek to solicit information from anyone under the age of thirteen (a "Child") and will comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and its accompanying regulations and any amendments. If a Child submits information to us through any part of our Website, and we know that the person submitting the information is a Child, we will not use it for any purpose. We will delete the information as soon as we discover it and we will not disclose it to third parties.
